JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
We are a fast-growing independent precious metal recycling company with operations in China, Singapore, and Cambodia. Due to our expansionary needs, we would like to invite suitable candidates to join us as a Business Development Executive.
Roles & Responsibilities
A. Conduct a thorough and accurate market research to identify and determine the following:
- Sources of spent catalytic converters in Vietnam (including but not limited to scrapyards, auto repair centres, individual collectors ,insurance companies, OEM catalytic converter manufacturers, 4S shops, etc)
- Competitive landscape – who are the competitors, their respective market shares in volume and price range and customers
- Suppliers – who are the biggest sellers in Vietnam in terms of volume, who do they sell to, their range of pricing and locations
- Annual vehicle scrap rate, make, model and year of scrapped vehicles in all the major cities in Vietnam
- Market trend and consumer behaviour pertaining to replacement and recycling of catalytic converters, i.e., do Vietnamese drivers repair their damaged catalytic converter or replace and recycle them?
B. Develop a new supplier network based on the above research and foster relationship with new suppliers
C. Advise the company on all current government policies pertaining to the environment, import and export
D. Liaise with local government bodies for all necessary regulatory matters
E. Find out other industrial materials that contain Platinum Group Metals
F. Establish and implement short- and long-term sales target, identify new potential suppliers and leads
G. Update databases and use a customer relationship management (CRM) system
H. Set up Vietnamese website, writing, translating and proofreading creative copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
I. Deploy full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications
J. Update and manage campaigns on social media – Facebook and other popular local platforms
K. Monitor ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur
L. Produce an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign
